Hi there! I’m Hanna, founder of south2city.com. If you aren't cut out to be a minimalist but want to learn to maximize your money you found the right spot! I want to use my Accounting and MBA skills to help you save money in every area of life. I’m a Mississippi gal who moved to Chicagoland (hence the website name). I've always loved helping my friends develop skills from how to do their taxes to how to shop affordably. So I turned my passion into a corner of the internet. I hope you enjoy it! Want to know more? Read on.
More about me:
What is your name?
Hanna. I’m named after my sweet great grandmother!
What made you want to start a blog?
Honestly, I thought it would be a fun hobby! I love researching how to save money and talking about saving in practical areas of life. Who knows…maybe my 2 cents can help you!
Where are you from?
Tupelo, Mississippi. No, we don’t all wear overalls 😉 But hey overalls are back in style these days.
What did you study?
Accounting in Undergrad and Business Administration for my Masters. I love doing taxes which is weird, but I don’t do them professionally anymore…just for friends!
A Little Extra:
What is your favorite vegetable?
Fried Okra (Ok I know…maybe this doesn’t count, but southerners fry all the veggies.)
How tall are you?
5’3 ½ and the ½ inch really matters!
Who is your favorite movie actress?
If you could go anywhere in the world right now, where would you go?
India. My best friend is moving there, and I can’t wait to visit.
What’s the furthest you’ve ever been from home?
What is your favorite way to travel?
I love planes! Guilt free binge watching of movies. Sign me up!
I love Korean food! I spent my summers in college in South Korea so I feel like Korean is the food I crave the most.
